Greenland, 1408. At the edge of the known world, a group of Norse villagers clings to life through the longest winter in living memory. Food is scarce. Frost covers everything. And something far worse than starvation approaches from the arctic steppe. When the first bodies appear, the survivors realize the endless night is no longer their greatest enemy. An unholy predator has found them, and this monster hungers not for flesh alone, but to erase their centuries-old settlement from the Earth.
