Purple Scales & Coffee Tales: A Scales & Steam Novella

TARAN Over the past weeks the cafe on Finnegan Square has become more than just a place where Taran goes to grab excellent coffee and tasty treats. For him it's a way of putting himself out there again, and a means of finding a groupie to worship him. That was the original plan, anyway. A plan he made without Maeve, the purple-haired, curvy, and gorgeous barista. Her aura is the prettiest thing he's ever seen, and Maeve grounds him like nobody else can. When circumstances threaten their situationship, that really isn't anything at all, he goes to any length to save the cafe for both of them. Can she accept his help or are they too different after all, and everything he thought was between them was just a figment of his imagination? MAEVE Maeve started working at the cafe in Kirkmuir's centre to support herself through university. Over time her work as a barista started overshadowing her less than satisfying studies. Choosing between the career she as the child of blue-collar parents should want and the one that makes her happy, the decision is taken from her when her boss tells her through a text message that he's shutting down the coffee shop. Learning about her troubles, the hot, corset-wearing Dragon shifter Maeve has been flirting with offers to buy the place. Suddenly they have to work closely together, and she discovers a side of him he previously kept hidden. Yet he remains a rich dude with a driver and a castle, a class difference that might be too big for them to bridge. Shy autistic Dragon shifter and purple-haired AuDHD barista teaming up to save the coffee shop on Finnegan Square, Kirkmuir. CW: Neglectful parents
