What you will find here
Each book gets a written review covering what works, what does not, and who the book is actually for. Most also get a short video review of about sixty seconds, because sometimes you want the verdict before you want the argument.
How we choose books
We pick books we are genuinely curious about, across fiction and nonfiction. We are not trying to cover everything published — we would rather write forty reviews we stand behind than four hundred we do not.

Ratings run from 1 to 5 and are one person’s opinion, not an average of anything. See How We Rate for what each score means.
